The last Kihei Beach heading South, Keawakapu is a long expanse of Golden Sand. This is one of a handful of Maui named Beaches that could be considered two separate Beaches.
The Sand isn't the only thing Golden on Keawakapu. The Houses that line this strand are the Mansions of the Rich and Famous.
Most days, 'Serene' is the proper adjective for Keawakapu ... but when the rare 'Big Waters' appear the Surfboards are everywhere!
The South Maui Coastal Walking Trail connects Kama'ole III Beach Park with Keawakapu Beach.
