Mokapu is the first of the Wailea Beaches ... accessible by walking the sand from the south end of Keawakapu Beach ... or from the parking area it shares with Ulua Beach.
The Reef between Mokapu and Ulua Beaches (usually accessed from the Ulua side) is a fabulous snorkel spot and ideal for beginners learning to snorkel.
The Wailea Walking Path begins over Mokapu Beach and winds south to Polo Beach.
The 'Norm' here is also Calm and Serene. Much more often than not the water is clear and flat.
