Makena Landing is one of our favorite places in all of Maui ... it's the home port for our kayaking.
Makena Landing is also two beaches in one ... but we're not here for the Sandy Beaches ... frankly there are better beaches both North and South from here.
We're at Makena Landing to launch our Kayaks, Canoes (Outriggers) or Paddleboards ... or to Snorkel or Scuba dive.
Makena Landing is rich in history ... and enmeshed in current political debates! Both are interesting ... but listening to the roosters cock-a-doodle-doo !!! in the morning is more memorable.
